Manufacturing Trainer

37.5 hours | Portchester

Based in Portchester UK. This new role is responsible for Training of all Production roles on the Assembly lines and at time Core training with the Moulding Operators, re-training and recertification training within the manufacturing area. The key objective of this role will be providing training, tests, certifications and re-certifications to manufacturing personnel whilst motivating and developing team members through training.

Your tasks:

Identifying the needs of training and re-training and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements is understood by all team members to promote an effective, productive and highly skilled workforce.

Ensure training targets are achieved as detailed by the Training Leader and or Area Leaders and Shift Leaders
To be responsible for health and safety awareness and compliance.
To participate in process improvement projects.
Providing training, re-training and guidance and support as required across all areas of the business unit
Support design, review and ongoing development of tests/questionnaires in Classmarker
Giving monitoring to and assessing of training to the trainees and Leadership team.
Administering and marking the tests / questionnaires.
Acting as a point of contact between the Shift / Area Leader and the Training Leader.
Supporting manufacturing when a need is identified like: training, explanation of criteria and re-training.
Support individual’s development and capability requirements as identified by the DOVE program
Administering and updating training records.
Being consistent in the training and effective use of the visual tools to provide training.
To develop and maintain the training packs and materials used to aid the training team
Preparing training metrics as required by the Training Leader or Shift Leaders.
Effective use of the QMS system for reference to the latest documentation to ensure we only train against this.
Work closely with Engineers as and when required for introduction of new processes and Ways of working.
Other manufacturing support tasks as required to enable the effective operation of the business unit.

Your profile:

Ideally one year’s experience of working in a result driven manufacturing environment.

We are looking for excellent team players and communicators who can work on their own initiative, with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be expected to achieve results whilst maintaining quality at all times within a fast paced and changing environment.

You.will have Good communication and numerical skills. Good technical abilities with problem-solving techniques.
