Image Quality Testing Engineer (m/w/d)
40 hours | Stuttgart

Your tasks:
- Measurement of optical and optoelectronic components (e.g. lenses, cameras, displays) in the laboratory
- Testing optical and optoelectronic components for all sample stages
- Support of production (e.g. incoming goods test, end-of-line test) upon request
- Design and execution of test concepts for the validation of camera monitor systems
- Planning and setup of an automated test environment using cooperating robots to determine image quality KPIs
- Definition of interfaces and creation of SW tools for the automation of measurement tasks
- Automated and standardized generation of test reports
- General responsibility for the laboratory
- Maintenance of equipment and work tools
Your profile:
- Completed engineering studies, in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation or similar
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of imaging systems and image quality metrics
- Hands-on experience with test methods of optical and optoelectronic components (e.g. cameras, displays)
- Experience with the planning, execution and documentation of test cases
- Good general technical abilities and attention to detail
- Good programming skills (Python, Matlab, C++)
- Basic understanding of quality assurance
- Good English language communication skills, both written and verbal
