IT Administrator for Automotive Tools and Process Development (m/w/d)

40 hours | Stuttgart

Your tasks:

  • Administration and maintenance of development tools: You are responsible for the administration and smooth functioning of our development tools. This includes installing, configuring and updating the tools to ensure they meet the requirements of our development processes.
  • You will be significantly involved in the implementation and deployment of development tools. You work closely with different teams to ensure that the tools can be used efficiently and effectively and support the development teams in the best possible way.
  • Implementation of new processes: You support the introduction and implementation of new development processes in our tools. In doing so, you will analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them in close cooperation with the relevant departments.
  • Scripting and programming: You have in-depth knowledge of various scripting and programming languages. You use this knowledge to develop scripts, drive automation and implement customised solutions.
  • Database administration: You have a good knowledge of databases and can work with SQL. You support the administration and maintenance of databases to ensure that the tools can work efficiently with the required data.

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable education
  • Good understanding of software development processes and agile methods
  • Knowledge in the administration of development tools in the automotive sector
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking skills
  • Independent working style and the ability to work on several tasks in parallel
  • Experience with common development environments and tools such as Eclipse, Git, JIRA, Jenkins, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of various scripting and programming languages such as Python >3.10, JavaScript, Perl, Shell, Java, C, C++, C#
  • Databasenisse: MsSQL, Postgress, LocalDB, JSON, XML
  • Knowledge of the following tools is desirable: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, SVN, Googletest
