Paint Plant Manager

We are currently looking for a Paint Plant Manager This position directs and coordinates all activities and related functions pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the paint plant.

Your tasks:

Production planning, quality, manning requirements, inventory control, for raw material and painted stock, paint processing, housekeeping, safety and environmental regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out Management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training; planning, assigning and directing work; performance appraisal; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your profile:

Associates degree and/or 5 to 7 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates who are working toward their degree will also be considered, provided the intent for finishing is present.

15 years automotive experience in manufacturing of plastic exterior products. Minimum of 10 years experience with painting of such components. 1-3 years of supervision experience preferred. Automotive Tier I or II experience desirable. Candidates possessing less experience with a strong education, leadership and drive for results will also be considered.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
