We are seeking a resource who is capable to ensure that all supplier invoices received in accounts payable are processed in accordance with procedures so that suppliers are paid on time and all deadlines are met using the back-office function in India as effectively as possible for this process.

Your tasks:

Processing of certain supplier invoices that are not dealt with by the back office in line with procedures.
Daily liaison with back office to manage and resolve queries and ensure timely completion of work.
Handling internal and external queries promptly and efficiently by the appropriate media to ensure suppliers receive their payments on time and there is no impact to production
Control of the supplier statement reconciliations, using the back office efficiently.
Filing of all documentation appropriately
Review AP VAT GL accounts on a monthly basis to ensure postings are correct & accurate.
Prepare the BACS, SEPA and Foreign payment files for the weekly payments.
Produce monthly payments forecast for review
Meeting month end targets by ensuring that all invoices are authorised and processed.
Complete all AP related balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Complete the six monthly payment practice reporting.
Review and update procedure notes on a regular basis.
Support the month-end close process by reviewing and producing accurate and timely accruals journals and reconciliations for known ongoing GRNI.
Prepare a monthly reconciliation of the supplier ledger to the general ledger for Day 7 reports.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s/ master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
